Our program is based on the State Education Departments "Essential Learning's Framework" which has been developed with five curriculum areas:
Thinking |
Communicating |
Personal Futures |
Social Responsibility |
World Futures |
Essential Learning is a birth to age 16 curriculum.
Our Service has participated in Action Research with the Department to link the framework to the early childhood setting.
Our Children will experience continuity in provision for their learning's from this setting into early schooling.
We are also a leader in introducing Essential Learning's into the Early Learning arena with two staff members, Aimee and Claire, leading action research within our Centre and participating in the education of other early childhood workers through workshop presentations. For more information on the Essential Learning's please take a look at the State Education Departments site
