Philosophical Aims
 

Families deserve and have the right to consistent high quality care for their children within our Centre based service. Children spend many hours within this care during which they encounter their first exposure to a new social environment containing a variety of people and experiences.

This Centre aims to cater for children in its care by:

Ensuring that each child is considered as an individual to identify his / her particular needs and strengths.

Providing a programme designed by our State Education Department - The Essential Learning's - where all area's of development are covered through communication, thinking, personal futures, social responsibility, and world futures.

 Promoting a cross-cultural programme reflecting Australia's multi-cultural society.

bullet

Encouragement of the development of positive attitudes by setting a good model and helping develop tolerance, consideration of others, respect for people and property, health and hygiene practices.

Providing an individual child centred programme ,which is well planned and involves a wide range of experiences.

Providing a programme which emphasizes first hand experiences, and which offer the child success through achievement.

Protecting and enhancing their health and welfare.

Promoting parent communication by encouraging parent involvement and an interchange of information between carers and parents.


Ensuring that children will be adaptable and have the confidence and fundamental skills to take on new learning throughout their lives.
