Welcome To Our Room!

In the Possum Room, we aim to provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment, where children learn to interact in relation to others with care, empathy and respect.

Possum Room Intentions
Through observation and reflection, we provide enriching experiences that encourage and promote learning through interactions and play.

Within the program, we encourage sustainable practices and the awareness of environmental impact.

We provide children with strategies to make positive choices about their behaviours. Encouragement and support are used as tools to direct and promote behaviours, through developing self-esteem and self-worth.

Children’s self-help skills and independence will be encouraged through routine tasks and learning opportunities.

The educators will encourage and assist with meal times, dressing, sleeping, toileting and nappy changing.

Children are provided with a balance of active and quiet activities with rest time provided daily.

We work with families to promote each child’s learning and development, self-esteem and individuality.

We would like all children and their families to feel a sense of belonging within the Possum room by building positive partnerships between all.

We aim to see the children enjoying a day full of fun and successful outcomes.
